1898 Liberty Head Eagle. MS-64+ (PCGS). This is a fully struck, wholly lustrous example with a pleasing satin texture. A generous mintage of 812,310 circulation strikes conceals the scarcity of this late date Liberty Head eagle. At the uppermost reaches of Choice Mint State the present example is rare from a condition standpoint and would do nicely in an advanced type or date set. PCGS# 8740. NGC ID: 267G.
