- Bright, brilliant, and simply a delight to behold. With no more than 5% of the mintage believed to have been fully struck (per J.H. Cline, <em>Standing Liberty Quarters</em>, 2007), locating a 1928-S in any FH grade is a challenging task for the advanced collector. The present example is superior as an upper end Gem and seemingly earmarked for an advanced SLQ set.
