This is a VERY RARE and AWESOME coin! Its tiny mintage of a mere 800 pieces off the bat made this a very rare and challenging date. Just a touch of friction can be seen on either side. Well struck details retain essentially full, crisp details. Totally original surfaces retain ample semi-Prooflike luster and the eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 17, NGC 16, CAC 3. No doubt these figures include some duplication. No CAC AU58 has ever sold in auction. The current CAC CPG value is $6,880 and the Collectors Universe value is listed at $6,500.
