Punctuated Date. Rarity-3. VF-25 PCGS. OGH. Medium golden-tan throughout with excellent all-around eye appeal. Other than some stray ticks, an interested viewer will be hard-pressed to find any marks of moment. The reverse center is weak, nearly a given for the variety, as most of the metal flow was to Liberty’s somewhat high portrait on the obverse at striking time. An obverse die flaw resembles an overly large comma between the first two digits of the date. Decidedly choice for the grade and ideally suited to a mid-range early U.S. type set or an advanced date and variety cabinet of the same quality. Housed in an old-style green label PCGS holder with plastic frame. PCGS #1018 Pedigree:
