- Lot Description
- R-7+ 4-6 Minted. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. We do know long ago a major grading company conserved this coin. A very pleasing specimen-- it is NOT a bad coin at all. The mirrors are strong and do offer good reflection. On both sides the surfaces are super clean. Thicker and deeper shades of purple/brown/forest green swirl all over both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do standout. The eye appeal is neat! PCGS 1, NGC 0. This coin has never appeared in any auction. There are no price guides daring to venture on this piece. Mr. Simpson paid $5,600 for this coin as part of the huge collection he bought back in 2008. The market is somewhat different now and we think the coin is worth slightly less today. PCGS # 61101 Cert. Number 30935571 PCGS # 61101
