1915 Barber Quarter. Proof-66 (PCGS). Blushes of steel-gray enliven a base of antique silver iridescence on both sides of this visually impressive piece. A well mirrored finish is readily evident at direct viewing angles, while full striking detail is easily seen even at arm's length. This was the final year Proofs were issued for the Barber quarter series, and a tiny issue of just 450 pieces were struck and sold. Naturally upper end Gems are quite rare and desirable today.
