- THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION While considered a relatively common date, the 1923 quarter is indeed quite scarce so fine and very rare any finer. This is a very well struck example, lacking just some detail on Liberty's upper head detail to be in the FH designation; however, her entire profile is fully formed and all the brads on the shield are visible, even if two or three are a trifle soft. The luster is blazing white-hot silver highlighting PRISTINE surfaces. The eye appeal is incredible. PCGS 103, NGC 45, CAC 27. A similar coin sold for $1,680 in June 2020 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $2,750. Just 10 are graded higher in MS67+, the last one sold over a decade ago! This impressive, high grade, and high end piece will see strong bidding when it crosses the block. Good luck. Cert. Number 81176928 PCGS # 5742
