Lot Description

1972 Lincoln Cent. FS-104 (FS-033.54). Doubled Die Obverse. MS-62 RB (PCGS). One of several DDO errors known for the 1972 Lincoln Cent, FS-104 is attributable by looking at the digit 2 in the date and some of the letters in the word LIBERTY and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. (This is similar to the situation noted for FS-103, so careful inspection is required to differentiate between the two varieties.) Nicely blended light-brown toning and medium-orange luster blanket both sides. A probable Gem were it not for a couple of widely scattered carbon spots.
