Lot Description

1893 Barber Dime. Proof-65 (PCGS). Originality is a hallmark of both sides of this richly toned specimen. The appearance is predominantly vivid reddish-copper color, but crescents of cobalt-blue patina are also discernible around the peripheries. Uniform mint brilliance is seen as the surfaces dip into a light. A crisply impressed and carefully preserved example for the early-date type collector. PCGS# 4877.
