This is a rare find as a circulated 1868 trime with CAC approval. It is a richly original Choice AU dressed in bold steel-gray and olive patina. Boldly defined overall with good underlying luster. Only 3,500 circulation strikes of this denomination were produced in 1868, and this is one of the absolute finest a collector is likely to find without advancing to the Mint State level.
