Tompkins Die Stage 3/3. With blushes of medium rose patina to otherwise pewter gray surfaces. There is evidence of an old cleaning here, but no singularly distracting marks are seen, and all major design elements remain bold in the presence of heavy wear. All in all, a suitable circulated type candidate from this brief and historic early U.S. Mint half dollar series.
