Description du lot
Ex R.S.D. Collection, as noted on the insert. To the uninitiated collector, a mintage of 4.4 million might suggest a coin that was readily available in all grades. However, this date is EXTREMEY RARE in SUPERB GEM, with just four reported at PCGS and NONE at NGC. Exceptionally lustrous surfaces glow from below a layer of the richest multicolored toning. With its gorgeous Magenta and tangerine hues at the rims and golden-russet in the centers, it is clear that this coin likely was stored in an old album. Sharply struck and highly attractive, this SUPERB GEM cannot be beat! WOW! PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 2. This coin sold, at the bottom of the market (January 2016) for a RECORD $16,450. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $18,000. There are NONE FINER, making this an absolutely amazing addition to any Barber quarter set. Bid accordingly. Cert. Number 35793921 PCGS # 5662
