Lot Description

1850-O Liberty Head Eagle. Winter-2. EF-45 (NGC). A bright medium gold example with flickers of original luster greeting the viewer as the surfaces rotate under a light. Winter-2 is the scarcer of the two known die marriages of this issue, identifiable by the digit 0 in the date being placed slightly closer to the bust than the denticles.
