Lot Description

Choice example from a mintage of 700 coins. The 1873-78 Trade dollar proofs are much scarcer than the 1880-83 (proof only) issues and are much harder to find. Water mirrors offer bright reflectivity and showcase razor sharp details all tinted a pretty pale golden tone.
