Low mintage of only 9,996 coins commemorating the 100th anniversary of the independence of Texas in 1836. General Sam Houston and Stephen Austin, founders of the Republic and State of Texas depicted on reverse. D and S mints also issued in 1935. CAC approved for quality and eye appeal. Only 11 finer at PCGS and even fewer have CAC stickers.
