- 1873 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-65 Cameo (PCGS). CAC.
Exquisite surfaces are silky smooth in texture with halos of pinkish-apricot and powder-blue iridescence around the peripheries. Virtually brilliant in the centers to allow ready appreciation of a boldly cameoed finish from the dies. An exceptionally well produced and preserved survivor from a Proof-only mintage of 600 coins, the last in the silver three-cent series.
