1883-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 1-A, the only known dies. EF-40 (PCGS). Lustrous EF quality with bold honey-rose patina and most design elements sharply defined. A much scarcer issue than the 1882-CC, the 1883-CC half eagle represents a significant find in all problem-free circulated grades. Provenance: From the Collection of Silas Stanley Roberts, 1888-1966.
