This is a stunning, SUPERB, and AMAZING quality early Proof Jefferson nickel. Wonderfully watery fields show the utmost depth and original clarity from the time of striking. The obverse and reverse are ringed by a concentric iridescent rainbow toning, that is brought to life by the mirrored reflection. Sharply struck devices. The surfaces are essentially without flaw of any kind and the eye appeal top notch! PCGS 2, NGC 5, CAC 2. None have sold in five years, the last bringing $7,050 in July 2016; prior to that one sold in March 2015 for $12,925. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $9,000.
