Lot Description

Mintage: 52,000. Rather substantial wear has taken away the finest overall details, and the central torso and shield are basically worn completely down. That said, some of the details at Liberty's face can still be seen, and the major feathers in the eagle's left (observed) wing still show boldly. A few ancient pin scratches down the reverse have long ago toned over to the point of being invisible except under intense scrutiny.
