Lot Description

1807 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-1, B-1. the only known dies. Rarity-1. Manley Die State 2.0. AU-58 (PCGS). Lovely glossy medium-brown patina with subtle pale-rose undertones flashing into view at more direct angles. Generally bold in strike, with most features quite sharp, a few old, dull nicks to the obverse portrait interrupt an otherwise uncommonly smooth sheen in a lightly circulated early copper.
