FROM THE INCLINE COLLECTION Again, the mint focused on output of quantity, not quality of strike. Despite a mintage of nearly 75 million, the number of examples with fully defined strikes is exceedingly small. This GEM ranks at the very TOP of the POP. Delicate iridescent toning is seen on both sides, accenting the clean, lustrous surfaces and highlighting the crisply defined devices. The eye appeal is wonderful. PCGS 4, NGC 1. The only PCGS-graded example to sell in auction brought a record $9,694 in our December 2019 Regency Auction and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500.
