Lot Description

The beautifully toned obverse features a blend of antique-mauve and medium olive-copper, while the reverse is awash in bolder olive-gray patina -- very attractive. The strike is sharp as expected of a Proof striking, the finish is intensely reflective, and the surfaces are virtually pristine. This coin is one of the finest certified survivors from a mintage of 590 Proof quarters for the date. Superb!<p>
