1945-S Jefferson Nickel. MS-68 (PCGS). Both sides exhibit subtle but colorful "oil slick" patina that is accented at selected border areas by some deep russet-brown toning. Although not quite full at the center of the reverse, the strike is well above average than that often seen on '45-S nickels. As dictated by the Superb grade rating, there are no marks or other surface distractions. A rare opportunity for the toning enthusiast or Registry Set collector. PCGS Population: 6; none are finer.
