1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 43-d, W-5225. Rarity-1. No Sprig Above Plow, Bulbous Nose. VF-20 (PCGS). Glossy olive-brown surfaces with some overtones of blue and pink indicative of an old cleaning. Struck a bit off center to 6 o'clock relative to the obverse such that the date is not visible. Otherwise bold VF sharpness throughout. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
