Clem Stevens Collection. 2 graded PF-65+, 18 higher at NGC. Neither service has ever designated a 1938 Lincoln cent as "ultra cameo" (or the PCGS "deep cameo" equivalent), and very few have even achieved the present "cameo". This is an absolutely stunning gem that exhibits marvelous contrast, aside from a shallow reflective area at the bottom of Lincoln's lapel. Amazingly well struck, even some circular die-polish within the portrait has been brought up with precise definition.
