1857-S Liberty Half Eagle. AU-58 (NGC). CAC. Sharply struck throughout with full talons on the eagle and attractive surfaces for a briefly circulated coin. Mintage of 47,000 pieces for the year but precious few survive in high grades, with mint state pieces prohibitive.
