- Bert Davies Collection. VAM-4, Top-100. Earlier dies make this a fabulous representative of the very popular 1880/1879 overdate, distinguished by semi-prooflike flash in the fields. Very good details further attest to the youthful dies. Meeting expectations at MS-62, the surface shows a profusion of tiny friction abrasions throughout as is often seen for this emission.
