- 1805 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-1, B-1. Rarity-1. Medium 5, Stemless. MS-61 BN (PCGS). The PCGS insert refers to this variety as Small 5, No Stems, which is another way of describing the Guide Book variety of the 1805 C-1 Half Cent. This is an overall smooth-looking piece with flickers of original luster still outlining many of the devices. Otherwise medium-brown in tone, a small swirl of verdigris and a vertical pinscratch in the obverse field before Liberty's portrait are the only blemishes of note. Well struck for the type with generally bold definition to the devices.
