Lot Description

1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 32-T, W-5100. Rarity-2. Outlined Shield. EF-40 (PCGS). 143.3 grains. Attractive gently mottled light brown and steel surfaces display nice gloss and just a trace of porosity in places. Scattered tiny planchet flaws are seen across the obverse but they have virtually no effect on the overall aesthetic appeal. Nicely struck, well centered, and a very nice example of this variety.
