1853-O Liberty Head Eagle. Winter-5. EF-45 (PCGS). CAC. This is an inviting golden-honey example with plenty of bold striking detail and ample satin luster remaining to both sides. Trailing the 1847-O and 1851-O to rank as the third most obtainable New Orleans Mint eagle of the No Motto design, the 1853-O is popular with both Southern gold specialists and mintmarked gold type collectors.
