Lot Description

Gigi Consignment. Logan-McCloskey-1 is the most common die-marriage for 1800, generally available in most every grade, and all-around popular as the first year with the new heraldic eagle reverse. Nice bisque-grey color joins some tan and beige undertones to create a generally pleasing presentation, even if the obverse sees an unexpected number of delicate, darker hairlines throughout. By contrast, the reverse has survived with remarkably few disturbances.
