1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath Reverse. S-7. Rarity-6-. Vine and Bars Edge. AG-3 (PCGS). The rarest Sheldon numbered Wreath cent and here is a smooth and pleasing lower grade example. Attractive chocolate-brown surfaces that are generally hard with just localized areas of fine granularity as well as some minor marks and planchet voids. Only the upright of the 7 is visible in the date, this due to heavy die cracks and swelling in this region which no doubt caused the early retirement of this obverse die, creating a rarity for collectors today.
