Lot Description
1876 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. FS-401. C in Neck. Proof-62 (NGC). There is the top third of a "C" at the base of Liberty's neck, this apparently from the CC mintmark obviously not used on these Proof coins that were coined in Philadelphia. Attractive light silver and highly reflective fields, with a dash of russet-gold around the rims the only sign of toning. Minor hairlines are noted. Mintage of 1,520 pieces.
