1915 Indian Half Eagle--Struck Through Reverse--AU-53 (PCGS). The surfaces are natural and attractive with some luster in the fields and a good strike. Struck through on the lower reverse on DOLLARS where something rather thick laid on the OLL and the AR of that word. The object that created the strike through was thick and possibly metallic in nature as the inset is deep, rounded and bold in appearance on the struck coin. While there are several of these gold errors included in this collection bear in mind that these are all quite rare and seldom offered. It is indeed likely that this specialized collection was formed over many years as these coins were offered through normal channels in the marketplace.
