1853 Braided Hair Cent. N-23. Rarity-3+. MS-64 BN (PCGS). A gorgeous piece with booming cartwheel luster and significant mint red outlining much of the detail. Late die state, the surfaces flowlined which contributes to the bold and distinctive luster. Fantastic overall eye appeal with no detractions to note. A scarce die variety of which there are far fewer Mint State examples than many other 1853 varieties.
