Frosty surfaces are fully lustrous with minimal toning that hardly denies a brilliant appearance at most viewing angles. Softly struck in the centers, a feature often noted for the issue, and when combined with scattered bag marks explains the BU grade for the present 1893-CC. This challenging Carson City Mint issue is also the last in the Morgan dollar series.
