Lot Description

From the collection of Dr. Tom Sears.  He found the coin in an NGC MS 62 capsule two years ago.  The crossover to PCGS yielded a 7-point demotion.  Ouch!  The good news, of course, is that the quality of the coin had not changed.  CAC recognized that fact, conferring a coveted gold sticker.  It is a challenge to find friction on the coin.  The virtually mark-free surfaces are blanketed in silver-grey toning.  The NGC label accompanies the lot.  Est. $500 and up.
