Lot Description

1940-D/D Washington Quarter. FS-501 (FS-012.4). Repunched Mintmark. MS-64 (PCGS). This is an unusual mintmark variety showing a secondary D totally separated and west of the primary D. Collectors will pay close attention to this lot. Nicely toned at the peripheral areas on each side with just a couple of small abrasions.
