1853 Liberty Seated Half Dime. Arrows. MS-67 (PCGS). A richly original Superb Gem with particularly dramatic reverse toning in mottled copper-red, steely-charcoal and deep olive colors. The brighter reverse is brilliant in the centers with splashes of similar colors around the periphery. Both sides are sharply struck with a full endowment of smooth, billowy mint luster. The brevity of the Liberty Seated, Arrows half dime type is sure to result in keen interest in this exceptional survivor of the first year 1853 issue. PCGS Population: 11; 6 finer (all MS-67+).
