Lot Description

The Blackhawk Collection. 14 graded MS-67+, 2 higher at PCGS. Iconography for the popular Texas half-dollar includes the visage of Liberty kneeling within an array of Texas symbology, i.e. Sam Houston, Stephen F. Austin, et. al. A remarkably lustrous and opalescent white example, the marvelously unimpaired surfaces are something to be envied for this superb gem. The cataloger could only find a portion of a reed mark in the obverse right field, as the reverse seems to be just as immaculate as it gets.
