- 1877 Seated Liberty Quarter. Proof-66 Cameo (NGC). <p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">An impressive coin for the depth of the contrast against the frosted devices. Bright save for a faint golden glaze, the mirror fields are intact and boldly reflective. For the year a scant 880 Quarters were coined in proof, precious few are found in Gem grades today, and these early cameo strikes are highly desirable. A single Deep Cameo coin has been graded by PCGS, none at NGC, confirming the Condition Census quality offered.<br /><br />
