Lot Description

1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 11.1-E, W-2870. Rarity-2. Mailed Bust Left. EF-40 (PCGS). 137.4 grains. Smooth and glossy medium brown with some scattered natural planchet fissures on the obverse and some minor nicks and scratches on the reverse. Well centered, with a full date and complete legends. A little planchet flaw is present on the rim above NN of CONNEC, light lamination seen on the reverse shield. Nicely detailed for the assigned grade. Provenance: From the E Pluribus Unum Collection.
