Lot Description

121.1 grains. Somewhat mottled patina on the obverse while the reverse is more uniform, and largely pleasing chocolate brown with only a single streak of deeper color. A few obverse scratches and areas of porosity are noted on both sides, but the surfaces are still fairly glossy. An earlier die state without the bulging at ED and the lump right of the neck that later forms, but with the crack at CT clearly visible. Centering a bit imperfect, with half of the date digits off the flan.<p>
