A high end and high grade example of this conditionally challenging date. PCGS has graded just 8 in MS66+ FS and just three finer. This brilliant, silver-nickel hued GEM has a bold strike, with full definition to all the steps, and crisp detail to other parts of Jefferson's home. The surfaces are free of any distracting marks. PCGS 8, NGC 0. The most recent example sold for $1,680 in March 2019; prior to that, one sold for $2,233. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500.
