1920-S Standing Liberty Quarter. MS-62 FH (PCGS). Bold cartwheel luster serves to highlight the quality of this lesser graded specimen of a date that is somewhat elusive in Mint State. Choice overall in spite of the MS-62 rating, with a crisp strike and far finer eye appeal than one might imagine. Yet another date that is much scarcer in Uncirculated than its mintage of just over 6.3 million pieces suggests. No doubt among the finest of the MS-62 FH examples of the date extant, at least to our eye, and a coin that should be seen in person to gain a full appreciation.
