A truly AMAZING example of this important Franklin half dollar die variety, one that is very popular and very scarce in all grades, EXTREMELY RARE this fine! Highly mirrored fields contrast beautifully with the intensely frosted motifs, bordering on a cameo-like appearance. Ultra flashy, the reflection has bold clarity and depth, with no haze to interfere with the platinum white brilliance of this awesome piece! The die doubling is quite pronounced, most notably on the E PLURIBUS UNUM motto. PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 4. We think these figures include duplicate submissions, including crossovers and re-stickers.
