1797 Draped Bust Half Dime. LM-1. Rarity-3. 15 Stars. Fine-12 (PCGS). Mottled pewter and silver-gray color overall. Good overall detail for the grade. Some abrasions noted on left side of obverse, mostly behind Liberty's head, other faint obverse scuffs. Still nicely detailed and desirable as an affordable and fairly attractive example of this elusive early half dime type. Provenance: From the Michael Mann Type Collection. PCGS# 4258. NGC ID: 22ZZ.
