Lot Description

1849 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-102, FS-301. Repunched Date. VF-25 (PCGS). All four of the date digits are sharply repunched to the west of the correct position, and the bottom of an errant number 9 peeks out from just beneath the lower edge of the rock. A moderately worn example with deep reddish-brown and cobalt green coloration near the upper obverse and lower reverse peripheries.
