Lot Description

1908 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). This wonderfully original specimen exhibits a blush of soft pearl gray toning in the center of the obverse, both sides otherwise dressed in bold steely-charcoal patina. The toning has enough of an iridescent quality to allow vivid multicolored undertones and a lively reflective finish to shine forth powerfully as the surfaces dip into a light.
