1840 Liberty Head Half Eagle. Narrow Mill. AU-55 (NGC). Bright yellow-gold patina greets the viewer from both sides of this sharp and lustrous Choice AU example. The Narrow Mill examples of the 1840 half eagle are seen more frequently in numismatic circles than their Broad Mill counterparts.
